Sanctified Lady {DJ Pump Re-Edit}

Marvin's Sancitified Lady was originally "Sanctified Pussy" or "Sanctified Bitch" that was featured on Dream of A Lifetime album which was released after his death in 1984. A great tune, I love the synthesized groove, its too damn funky and i like how he mumbles during certain parts. You can actually hear him curse ~ "Some girls F*ck, Some dont care" .. Also if you listen carefully you can still hear the "p" word slips out a few times, but the song insists that he wants no part of a promiscuous woman, but a good church girl who won't give him herpes...amen.

"She said I'm saving mine for Jesus!" .. RIP Marvin.

This Saturday (Sept 18th) marks the beginning of a new weekly residency in Vancouver BC, inside Shine Nightclub. The concept and format of "SUPER DELUXE" is simple - great djs playing great music every week. And what an undeniable lineup it is: The Eh! Team's Grandtheft, Pump, Hedspin & Illo team up alongside super producer U-Tern, Vancity legend Flipout and Fools Gold alumni FourColorZak.

New Truth MixShow - A Random Toronto Rap Mix...(Sept 04 2010)

I figured i'd take it back just a little bit this week and make a show sort of how like i used to do in the "good old days" ...play random new RAP music!!!! Being that the show is based in T-Dot (FLOW 93.5) i figured i would basically sumarize RAP music on the streets of Toronto in the last few months... Or atleast i think, considering i dont even live there. Ha!

YES i did play the entire DILLA verse on "Scheming' and then rewind it back to the beginning and then played it again. AND also you also have to give the Dj Hardy remix of "Dougie" a chance too cuz its dope. Shouts to all my T.O. Fam out there.
